Providence, RI - the Sexual Assault & Trauma Resource Center (SATRC), HOT 106 and 92 PRO-FM announce today the six schools selected for street team visits as part of the Your Voice, Your View Radio
Contest. Schools were selected for their early enthusiasm and participation in the Your Voice, Your View Contest. Being selected for a street team visit is not correlated to winning the final contest.
The 92 PRO-FM/HOT 106 Street Team and a prevention educator from the Sexual Assault & Trauma Resource Center (SATRC) will be available on-site to answer questions and offer feedback for students
creating the sexual assault prevention radio ad. 92 PRO-FM will distribute promotional giveaways and each school receiving a street team visit will be recognized on-air for their participation in the Your Voice, Your
View Radio Contest.
Your Voice, Your View is a contest for RI teens to create a :60 second radio commercial that shows guys
and girls as positive role models, taking a stand to prevent sexual violence and attitudes that encourage it. Entries must consist of a team of 2-4 teens and at least one male must be on each team. All participating
high schools receive a free prevention education workshop from the Sexual Assault & Trauma Resource Center. Entry Forms and related information can be downloaded from
http://www.satrc.org//yourvoice-yourview.htm . Final entries are due by February 27th.
The winning radio advertisement will be edited by SATRC/Citadel Broadcasting and aired throughout April,
which is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The winners will be recognized at a statewide press conference and will be invited on air to visit Giovanni & Kim in the Morning on 92 PRO-FM and Da Breakfuss Club with
Tessa and Baby J on HOT 106.

- January 12th 11-12:15 Rogers High School in Newport (92 PRO-FM)
- January 19th 11:30-1 Central High School in Providence (HOT 106)
- January 20th 10:30-12:30 Davies Career and Tech School in Lincoln (HOT 106)
- January 26th 10:30-12:30 Coventry High School in Coventry (92 PRO-FM)
- February 3rd 10:45-12:30 Woonsocket Area Career and Tech. School in Woonsocket (92 PRO-FM)
- February 3rd 12:55-2:00 in Auditorium Adelaide High School in Providence (HOT 106)
