Advocates offer in-person and phone support to listen and provide resources to begin a path to healing. Advocates help with accessing information and services, safety planning, understanding victim/survivor’s rights, navigating the justice system, and serving as a liaison during the court process. No matter what the needs are, Day One provides care, support, and referrals every step of the way. To connect with a Day One Advocate, please call: (401) 421-4100

Day One clinicians conduct a comprehensive evaluation and assessment of each person considering family background and cultural influences in order to assess the impact of traumatic experiences. Valuing a person’s current well-being assists us in understanding current functioning in order to identify symptoms and develop the most trauma-informed response.

Using a multidisciplinary team (MDT), the CAC delivers a coordinated response to child abuse while providing comprehensive, wraparound care for victims and their families. This is a lifelong resource for families, providing them with crisis intervention, case management, advocacy, and counseling.

Day One offers a full range of services to meet the needs of trafficking survivors and their families. We provide support through our mentoring program and offer treatment services, community education, and a variety of trainings suited for the general public, service providers, and law enforcement professionals. Our CSEC mentoring program brings together survivors of human trafficking and at-risk youth, fostering connections, guidance, and tools to overcome challenges and thrive.

Day One prevents sexual and interpersonal violence through education, training, community awareness, advocacy, and resource development. We challenge harmful social norms, create safer environments, and promote equity to stop violence before it starts. Our comprehensive programming is available to students, parents, and the community at large.
