Philanthropy Officer

General Summary: Reporting directly to the Director of Development, the Philanthropy Officer will work in partnership with Day One’s Executive and Development staff to help build the agency’s philanthropic giving program. Specifically, s/he will identify, cultivate, solicit, and manage individual donors, with the aim of converting annual fund donors to mid-level donors, and move mid-level donors to major donors.

Training and Outreach Coordinator

General Summary: Under the general supervision of the Prevention and Community Education Director, this position is responsible for coordinating Day One training and outreach efforts, increasing agency training capacity, and building strategic community partnerships. This position is responsible for communicating across departments to accomplish the agency's training, outreach, and engagement goals, also serving as a central point of contact between Day One and community partners.

Family/Victim Advocate - CAC

General Summary: In supporting the mission of the Rhode Island Children’s Advocacy Center, the Family Advocate is the first point of contact for the non-offending caregiver and the alleged sexually abused child. The Family Advocate is responsible for providing support for the non-offending caregivers in cases of alleged child sexual abuse so that the caregiver can act responsibly to protect and support the alleged child victim. The Family Advocate helps the non-offending caregiver to access services the family may need. In addition, the Family Advocate is to encourage the non-offending caregiver to participate in the investigation, prosecution, treatment and support services. The Family Advocate will participate on the MDT and provide limited on-going support for the child and the non-offending caregiver.

CAC MDT Coordinator/Facilitator

General Summary: Under the general supervision of the Director of the Children’s Advocacy Center, this position will be the point of referral for all community partners for known and suspected victims of childhood abuse, adults with disabilities who are abused, or witnesses to violent crimes. The MDT (Multidisciplinary Team) Coordinator will be the liaison between partners to share information, provide and organize team trainings, and manage data collection for all clients served.

Clinical Intake Coordinator

Day One is seeking a dynamic, professional, and articulate team player to work within the clinical department and conduct intakes, assess client need, and determine appropriate services. The agency is also looking to cultivate this position and have the coordinator assist in continuing to develop and supervise our group program. Once this has been established, we are exploring the potential of this position providing crisis intervention services to clients on an as-needed basis.

Applicant must have a knowledge base of trauma-related issues, as well as an understanding of the dynamics of sexual abuse/violence. Familiarity of community resources and of justice system advocacy or child protection/welfare preferred. Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field required. Spanish-speaking a plus. Competitive salary and benefits package.

Telehealth Per Diem Clinician

General Summary: Telehealth Clinician will be responsible for completing assessments, developing/implementing treatment plans, and providing individual, family, and group counseling to adult and child victims of sexual abuse. Telehealth services will be provided on Doxy.me platform. Telehealth clinician will need to have access to a secure computer system. Day One is looking for a motivated individual with telehealth clinical experience and strong interpersonal skills. A bachelor's degree in human services or related field required with licensure and Child specific experience necessary; LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LICSW required.

* Licensed Clinicians - $55/Hour; Sessions in Spanish - $60/Hour
* Non-Licensed Clinicians - $35/Hour; Sessions in Spanish - $40/Hour
